Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This policy covers two things: the SwiftAssist website (swiftassist.io), and the SwiftAssist application itself. The short version is that we collect almost nothing, and the product is architected so that your directory data never reaches us at all.
The SwiftAssist application
SwiftAssist is a desktop application that runs on your workstations and communicates directly with your domain controllers and Microsoft Graph. It has no vendor backend:
- No directory data, device data, or Microsoft 365 data is ever sent to us.
- The application contains no analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking.
- Audit records are written locally (and optionally to your Windows Event Log) and stay under your control.
- The optional license check-in service, if you enable it, transmits only your license identifier and tenant/domain binding, never directory contents.
What this website collects
The website is a static site with no advertising, no tracking scripts, and no cookies. We collect personal information in exactly one way: when you submit the contact or demo form, the details you type (name, work email, organization, and your message) are delivered to our inbox as an email so we can reply to you.
We measure site traffic in aggregate using Cloudflare's analytics, which reports totals such as page views, visit counts, countries, and referrers. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build profiles of individual visitors; we never see who you are from it.
Hosting and payments
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process standard connection data (such as IP addresses) to serve and secure the site, per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Form submissions are delivered to our inbox as email through Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online), per Microsoft's privacy statement.
- If you purchase online, payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's checkout pages, per Stripe's privacy policy. We never see or store card details.
How we use and keep your information
We use form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry and manage the business relationship you've asked us about. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing, and we do not send marketing email you didn't ask for. Inquiry emails are retained as ordinary business correspondence and deleted on request.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and we'll handle it, usually within one business day.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't reduce the substance of the commitments above without saying so plainly.
